It’s felt like a bit of a phoney war thus far today but we’re now minutes away from (potentially) a key moment, when we should learn if the Commons speaker John Bercow will allow MPs to have a ‘meaningful vote’ on Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal.

The word is that Bercow will be on his feet at around 3.35pm London time.
