The UK ranks among the world’s leaders in the UN E-Government Development Index and attracts a significant chunk of a government technology (govtech) market that is estimated to be worth $400 billion globally.

Research by govtech accelerator Public estimates that the UK market for govtech could be worth £20 billion by 2025 due to the country’s combination of a large market, thriving tech scene and public acceptance of digital.
