French journalist Julien Laurens has hit out at Manchester United for their reported pursuit of Gareth Bale.
He told ESPN: “Surely not, surely not. Please Manchester United, be a bit creative for once.
“Bale is 31, maybe he wants to come home, maybe he wants to play again more than he did last year, but this would be such a short-term fix. That would even be on loan.
“Why not invest some of the money in a younger player who has potential, that can grow in your club, that can be there for years and years?”
Will Gareth Bale be a United player come October? Only time will tell…

Reports coming in from Spain say that Sergio Reguilon’s move to Manchester United is “very close” although there are a couple of sticking points.
El Espanol say that Real Madrid want to include a buy-back clause that United have refused but the ‘biggest obstacle’ remains the price.
Los Blancos want around £28m for the left-back with United trying to lower the asking price.

REGUILON SIGNING CLOSER THAN EVER
Sevilla have given Manchester United a big boost in their pursuit of Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid.
Reguilon spent last season on loan at the Spanish club and was expected to return there this season but Sevilla have completed the signing of Argentinian left-back Marcos Acuna filling the gap left by Reguilon’s return to Madrid.
Zinedine Zidane isn’t prepared to use the 23-year-old at Real and is willing ti let him leave the club.
United are interested in signing Reguilon on a permanent basis, but Spanish outlet AS recently claimed his preference was to head back to Sevilla on loan and keep his dream of playing for Real alive.
With that move no longer an option will Reguilon fancy a move to Manchester?

BALE ‘AGREES’ TO LOAN DEAL
Despite coming out against any potential loan move earlier today the Spanish media outlets are reporting that Gareth Bale has agreed to provisionally join Manchester United on loan this summer.
Deportes Cuatro say United and Real Madrid still need to come to an arrangement over the Welshman’s wages as Bale is unwilling to take a pay cut to return to England.

BALE NOT INTERESTED IN LOAN
Gareth Bale is being linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer should Manchester United’s negotiations for Jadon Sancho breakdown.
The club are thinking about bringing the Welshman in on loan from Real Madrid but the Daily Mail is reporting that Bale wants a permanent move away from the Bernabeu rather than a loan deal.
Tottenham are also in the running for the Bale, will they want him in north London on a regular basis?

GARNER LOAN DEAL LIKELY
James Garner is expected to leave Manchester United on a season long loan deal to get some experience of first team football. However, two deals have fallen through in the past week.
Huddersfield Town and Coventry City had both been interested in signing the youngster but it seems unlikely he will join either side. Other Championship clubs have brought offers to the table for the 19-year-old with United weighing them up.
They want to ensure Garner gets regular time on the pitch and are taking their time to decide which club to go with.

UNITED SET DEADLINE FOR SANCHO
Manchester United have set a deadline to get Jadon Sacnho to England before they face Crystal Palace on Saturday. The club have agreed terms with the player and his agent but the deal isn’t complete until United meet Borussia Dortmund’s £120m asking price, which they are reluctant to do. On a position note Zinedine Zidane is prepared to let Sergio Reguilon leave Real Madrid for the right price:
