Even a gig full of feedback and broken amps could not drown out one advert
Diary of a London Punk Rocker
Made a genuine effort today to avoid the Sydney Sweeney Novig story, lasted about forty minutes before someone at the venue brought it up between soundchecks. The advert has apparently reached every corner of this citys underground scene, which is more penetration than most bands manage in a career.
Gig itself went fine, three chords, one broken amp, and a crowd more interested in discussing marketing strategy than the setlist. Strange times.
